VTÖ - Austrian Association of Technology Centres

The Austrian Association of Technology Centres is an independent spokesperson for all technology-oriented company initiatives, especially technology centres. The AATC supports start-ups for innovative and technology-oriented companies.

The Austrian Association of Technology Centres is a body that represents and looks after about 90 centres. Extensive knowledge and experience are the foundations for the sustained development and reinforcement of these technology and impulse centres. Increased technology policy related measures are combined with a strong regional emphasis and access to the right contacts for protagonists in innovation policy. Exchange of experience and knowledge management are a central part of the association's culture. The combined AATC network creates added value for the economic location of Austria. The AATC is a strategic spearhead for technology and innovation centres, with a high level of implementation expertise.

In addition to basic services such as the internet portal, the AATC newsletter, an annual network report, the organisation of the AATC annual general assembly and the AATC study trip, our activities also focus on PR and lobbying activities and the execution of project work. One example in this context is the Best Practice Project "Collective Knowledge", which represents achievements of the Austrian centres in the form of good examples (print and online) and has made an important contribution to knowledge management in the network. Another current project gives participants the opportunity to benchmark their facilities management in order to operate as efficiently as possible in this area.
