TOB - Technologieoffensive Burgenland

TOB-Technologieoffensive Burgenland GmbH is located in the Technology Centre in Eisenstadt and is a 100% subsidiary of WiBAG (Business Service Burgenland AG). WiBAG itself is 100% owned by the province of Burgenland.

TOB represents the operational instrument for technology promotion in Burgenland.

Its area of responsibility is therefore the development of special key technologies such as renewable and sustainable energy, optoelectronics, information and communication technologies, environmental technology, metal technology and materials.

Within these areas of responsibility, TOB also supports regional development in terms of the economy and employment in Burgenland.

Furthermore, TOB operates in the field of innovation, where a variety of stakeholders are supported by regional and bilateral innovation projects.

The Managing Director of TOB is Johann Binder, who also acts as the technology representative of Burgenland.

Moreover, a cooperation agreement exists between TOB and the Energy Agency of Burgenland, thereby ensuring possible use of the resources and know how of the Energy Agency of Burgenland.
