What means centrope_tt? centrope_tt (former CENTRIS) is an international experts community for technology transfer and innovation support acting in the bordering regions of Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia - called CENTROPE. Supported by an 2 mil. EUR EU-project 15 centrope_tt partner institutions are currently establishing tools for stimulation of cross-border technology transfer between enterprises and universities. As support service for our target groups in the CENTROPE area we built up this homepage, organise technology transfer oriented events and offering information about best practice in the region.
Can a company have more than one voucher? One SME can apply only for one Centrope_tt voucher. The number of vouchers are limited.
Number or innovation vouchers in the project? The form of the subsidy is non-reimbursable. Estimated number of project divided by countries: Austria 20 vouchers, Czech Republic 10 vouchers, Slovakia 10 vouchers, Hungary 10 vouchers.
What happens if the service provided by the R&D institution costs more than 5000 EUR? The maximum amount of the innovation vouchers is 5000 EUR. The SME can apply with one innovation idea only in one topic with the submission of only one application. In case the total costs of the project exceeds the 5000 EUR, the applicant has to finance the remained amount. This will be based on a second agreement between the SME and the R&D institution.

What is the CENTRAL EUROPE programme? CENTRAL EUROPE is a European Union programme that encourages cooperation among the countries of Central Europe to improve innovation, accessibility and the environment and to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of their cities and regions. CENTRAL EUROPE invests €231 million to provide funding to transnational cooperation projects involving public and private organisations from Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia. The programme is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and runs from 2007 to 2013. Interested partnerships are invited to propose their projects following public calls for proposals, which will be widely publicised.
Which ERDF co-financing rates will be applied? Different rates of ERDF assistance will be granted in the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme depending on the Member State where the institution participating in a project is located, its legal and economic profile and the nature of the activities to be developed: - Partners from AT, IT, DE: rate of assistance up to 75% - Partners from HU, CZ, PL, SI, SK: rate of assistance up to 85%.
