Co-operation without limits Science knows no limits, yet there are limits. Actually, the limits still exist in people, in our knowledge, contacts, cognitions and our culture creates these limits. The break-out lies in co-operation, getting to know each other better and more deeply, the reception of other people’s knowledge and arguments, the continuous conflict of opinions. For me, Centropa, as a region and a co-operation forum, as a professional, institutional and communicational scope, is important because more regions of three nations, and people living in numerous settlements, working associations, actions and ambitions meet and form something in common, something that is their own one, which is called Central Europe. Research and development, knowledge and the world of academic spirit can be determinant and significant. If the researchers, developers, analysts, collectors and processors of the knowledge, as well as the university sphere join together at one or more fields, this region may have a kind of role in Europe. The targets of the project are not only praiseworthy but useful, too. They are useful for the scientific and educational institutions, useful for businesses, public services and for people living here, as well. I wish the enthusiastic project building and organisation would be persistent and its sustainability, the targets, the long-lasting, stable and procreative operation of the institutions would be gauaranteed by the partners for the long term.
